Gateway Arch Park Foundation's Winterfest returns to Kiener Plaza for its eleventh year from Nov. 21, 2026 through Jan. 3, 2027!

Winterfest, presented by Bank of America and World Wide Technology is bringing back all the fan favorites, including ice skating, s'mores stations and igloos underneath 100,000 twinkling lights in the shadow of the Gateway Arch. This seven-week winter celebration will also showcase exciting events including kids-skate-free Fridays, visits from princesses and superheroes, and a family friendly New Year's Eve fireworks spectacular.

We are so excited to celebrate the winter season with you all again this year!

Tickets for skate rentals, heated igloos and s'mores stations are now available. Additional details, including individual programming dates and times, will be announced closer to this event. Follow us online and sign-up for our newsletter to stay in the loop.

Winterfest 5K

Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026

The Winterfest 5K is back for its sixth annual year, kicking off the Winterfest season in Kiener Plaza on Saturday, Nov. 21! It's accompanied by a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk.

Details

Experience our hometown national park in a new way! The route includes magnificent views, with a journey past Kiener Plaza and the Old Courthouse and through the beautiful grounds of Gateway Arch National Park. It doesn't get more "St. Louis" than this!

This race is the only official race through Gateway Arch National Park! Proceeds benefit Gateway Arch Park Foundation's mission of conservation, preservation, education, and community programs at and around our hometown national park.

Winterfest Favorites

All your favorite seasonal activities. All in the heart of Downtown St. Louis.

Go ice skating, roast s'mores, enjoy local food and drink, and enhance your experience in heated igloos, all in the shadow of the Arch at Winterfest! Your Winterfest experience is fully customizable, so make your plans now! 

Ice Rink

Please note: While skate rentals for the Winterfest ice rink can be purchased on site, we strongly encourage guests to reserve their skating time in advance to ensure availability and secure their spot on the ice.

8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (skate free all day courtesy of Ameren!)

November 21 – Jan. 3:
Thursdays: 4 – 8 p.m.
Fridays: 4 – 8 p.m. (kids skate free every Friday, courtesy of the St. Louis Blues!)
Saturdays and Sundays: 12 – 8 p.m.

Pricing

Ice skate rentals are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3 to 15.

S'mores

Purchase a S'Mores Kit for everything you need to make up to four s'mores, as well as access to one of our four marshmallow toasting fire pits.

All S'mores kits are available for $18. S'mores kits are available for purchase online and will be avaiable for purchase on-site.

Heated Igloos

Enjoy Winterfest from the warmth of the Igloo Village in Kiener Plaza!

Reserve your private, upscale heated igloo which includes stylish seating for up to 6 people.

Thursdays: 4pm-5:30 pm and 6pm-7:30 pm
Fridays: 4 - 5:30 pm and 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 12-1:30 pm, 2 - 3:30 pm, 4 - 5:30 pm and 6:00 - 7:30 pm 

Pricing & Information

All heated igloos start at $100 for a 90-minute reservation. If you plan to ice skate at Winterfest, we recommend booking your igloo after your skating session so you can enjoy your full time inside.

No outside food & drink is permitted inside the heated igloos. On-site food & drink packages are available as add-on's for your igloo reservation.

Parking

Parking for Winterfest is available at the Kiener Plaza East (500 Pine St.) and West (604 Pine St.) Garages, starting at $8 for up to 12 hours. Click here to reserve your parking ahead of time.

Guests who sign up for an InterPark Express account at iparkit.com/register will receive 20% off their first five uses; simply choose your day and time and scan your device to get in and out of the garage. During Cardinals baseball games or other Downtown events, event rates may apply.

Downtown metered and surface lot parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
