Thank you Winterfest Ice Rink Skaters and Sponsors!

This week we said see you later to the Winterfest Ice Rink in Kiener plaza. For the third year in a row, the Winterfest Ice Rink brought fun and activity to the heart of downtown St. Louis!

Fun fact: to disassemble the rink until next winter, ice rink staff used a two-ton boiler to melt 3,872 cubic feet of ice over three days. What were your favorite Winterfest Ice Rink moments?  We loved:

• Ringing in the New Year Winterfest style with our annual fire works finale above Kiener Plaza
• Watching couples get engaged and celebrate their marriages in ice skates
• Wide-eyed young people meeting their heroes in person from caped crusaders to princesses and a very special Daniel Tiger visit
• Bringing together fans across St. Louis for One Nation Night with both Fred Bird and Louie dropping a puck on the ice rink.

The Winterfest Ice Rink was a great opportunity to start new traditions with friends and family, and we’re looking forward to next year. Until then please stay tuned to our events page for upcoming activities including Sunrise Yoga and Kiener Kids this spring!
