App

We’re excited to introduce the Gateway Arch Park Foundation app. Designed to aid and enhance the visitor experience at the Gateway Arch, surrounding park, riverfront and Kiener Plaza, the app is the first-ever for the Gateway Arch experience.

The free app has tons of great features, including:

  • A map of downtown parking
  • A link to buy tickets to the top of the Arch
  • An event calendar
  • Accessibility information
  • Timed visitor itineraries
  • A built-in Gateway Arch-themed photo filter
  • Webcams featuring seven vantage points around the Gateway Arch National Park

The app also includes information about museum exhibits, as well as points of interest around the park. Each point of interest includes a photo, hours of operation and a brief description. Included are the Tram Ride to the Top, the Old Courthouse, Kiener Plaza, Monument to the Dream documentary movie, recreation paths, the central riverfront, helicopter tours and the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch.

Accessibility is important, and we wanted to make sure everyone – especially individuals who are blind, low vision or deaf – can use the app. To meet that goal, we worked with Universal Design Group to test it. Universal Design Group is a committee of people with a variety of disabilities who review and comment on designs.

Thanks is due to the Region Business Council for making the mobile app possible and for its continued support of our mission to ensure that the Gateway Arch, its grounds, nearby public spaces and attractions will continue to be a vital and welcoming resource to the community and nation.

Next time you visit the Arch, download the Gateway Arch Park Foundation app to make your experience a memorable one. The app is available from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store
