Title: Archon 10, Clarion 0
Description: The 10th annual Archon science fiction convention was held there in July of '87. Our room block was in the tower, and all of the air conditioners on the south side of the tower were down the whole weekend. Most of our Saturday night programming was in ballrooms in the subbasement. A pipe burst and wrecked both the elevators and the escalator. Even when these buildings were still fairly new, they were falling apart because they were so cheaply built.
