5th Wedding Anniversary 1998

Share your memories of this site.

Having been born and raised just a few miles southwest of the riverfront, the Arch and our St. Louis skyline has always been a source of civic pride, -including the (Stouffer's, Regal, Clarion) Millenium Hotel. Classically simple, and a fine example of architecture for its time. I will miss it very much...especially the Rotating Riverfront Restaurant. Truly wish another rotating restaurant was part of the new plan. While celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, my husband and I (now 33 years strong) enjoyed a beautiful sunset, gorgeous view (the best other than the Arch), a piano player tinkling soft jazz in the center of the restaurant, and some of the best food/service we've ever had at a restaurant to this day. Felt as if you could reach right out and touch the Arch, or down into the ballpark! We never wanted that night to end. Certainly hoped that the place of one of our fondest memories as a couple would be restored for us to visit again. Nevertheless, time marches on, and we are looking forward to the new development in the works by GAPF. We will visit once complete on yet another anniversary in the future. Yours Truly, L. Boulicault
