In 2021, we announced our new Volunteer Program

Comanaged by the Foundation and NPS, the program builds upon the existing Volunteers-in-Parks program at Gateway Arch National Park and encompasses Foundation-related work, as well.

Our program provides options for people of all ages, abilities and interests to participate, offering unique opportunities for individuals and groups of all kinds, including corporate, school, youth and clubs.

Our volunteer manager also engages volunteers with monthly email newsletters, fun outings, and book club meetings at coffee shops across the region.

In 2021, our program welcomed 104 volunteers, who donated 2,058 hours over 661 shifts. Volunteer work completed included both one-time and recurring projects in groundskeeping and landscaping, education and museum interpretation, communications and development, administration, event services and more.
