Attendees of Iconic Evening

Gateway Arch Park Foundation is the official philanthropic partner of Gateway Arch National Park, and we exist to support the park in as many ways as we can. This philanthropic support would not be possible without a community of active St. Louisans who love their hometown national park and want it to continue to flourish.

Signature Fundraising Events

We offer two signature fundraising events each year that support our mission:

Picnic in Your Park is held in the spring and hosted by our Friends Advisory Board. It invites guests to explore the grounds and discover a new favorite spot while enjoying a beautifully catered picnic and live music.

An Iconic Evening is held each October in the Visitor Center of the Gateway Arch on or near the anniversary date of the Arch’s completion (Oct. 28, 1965). In addition to an open bar and exquisitely catered dinner, it offers guests a unique opportunity to take a tram ride to the top at night – and take in the illuminated views of the St. Louis skyline – as well as peruse the Museum and enjoy live entertainment and good company. Save the date for 2023's An Iconic Evening: Oct. 26, 2023!

You’ll find ticket information about each of these events closer to these dates at archpark.org/events, or subscribe to our e-newsletter to learn when tickets go on sale.

Additional Fundraising Events

Winterfest 5K kicks off the six-week Winterfest season in Kiener Plaza and is the only official run through Gateway Arch National Park that also supports the park. All proceeds benefit our mission. In 2022, its second year, we had 209 registrants, a 41% increase over 2021! We're excited to see the 5K continue to grow and invite St. Louisans of all running levels make it an annual fitness tradition. The views don't get more iconic than this! Save the date for our third annual 5K: Nov. 18, 2023!

Community partnerships also support our mission. In 2023, we've teamed up with Caleres for a National Park Week round-up campaign, and we're bringing back our Blues Brunch on Aug. 13 at 612North, a portion of which supports the Foundation!

Other Ways to Support

In addition to our fundraising events, we also offer a membership program, which features robust benefits and invitations to exclusive events such as "Blues at the Arch Member Tent" and “Winterfest Preview Night.”

If membership isn't for you at this time, you can make a one-time donation to the Foundation's annual fund.

We offer other ways to support the Foundation, such as tribute gifts, gifts of stock, donor-advised funds, endowment gifts and the PayPal Giving Fund.

And we are grateful to have a generous community of corporate partners and event sponsors, without whom many of our projects would not be possible.
