Winterfest Night Markets

Artboard 1

Dec. 11 & Dec. 17 | 4-8 p.m.

Kiener Plaza

Two unique Winterfest Night Markets will offer local shopping featuring more than 25 diverse vendors.

Both events are free to attend and offer live music and performances by local artists, art activities and food trucks.

The Winterfest Night Markets are sponsored by the Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District, Greater St. Louis, Inc., and PGAV Destinations, developed with Gateway Arch Park Foundation’s Winterfest as part of the Downtown Engagement and Public Safety Initiative. They are being produced in partnership with Asha Hornaday, founder of Slay City Events, and Ohun Ashe of For The Culture STL.

Winterfest Night Markets will take place rain or shine, so guests should dress for the weather. St. Louis City COVID-19 protocols apply for indoor spaces, so masks are required inside the heated vendor tent.

Saturday, Dec. 11: Fire & Ice Family Festival

The Fire & Ice Family Festival will offer a variety of all-ages entertainment and hot-and-cold fun. Guests who are Downtown to partake in Winterfest’s One Nation Day and St. Louis Blues home game festivities are encouraged to stop by the market to buy holiday gifts in the heated shopping tent, sip hot cocoa, and enjoy entertainment by magical fire dancers.

Friday, Dec. 17: Frozen Masquerade

Winterfest will transform into a mystical experience for all ages with a Frozen Masquerade, emceed by legendary local radio personality Staci Static. It will include a magical visual spectacle, roaming costumed characters, and special performances by St. Louis’ famous Circus Harmony.

No masquerade ball could be complete without an icy King, Queen, Jester, and an ethereal Winter Fairy, all in elaborate costumes, mingling with market-goers. Street musicians will help masquerade attendees get into a festive mood to shop and play.
