Gateway Arch Park Foundation's Winterfest is back for its eighth year from Nov. 18 through Dec. 31, in Kiener Plaza!

Winterfest, presented by Bank of America and World Wide Technology and produced in partnership with the St. Louis Blues, is bringing back all the fan favorites, including ice skating, s'mores stations and igloos underneath 100,000 twinkling lights in the shadow of the Gateway Arch. This six-week winter celebration will also showcase exciting events like St. Louis Blues' try hockey free, visits from princesses and superheroes, and a family friendly New Year's Eve fireworks spectacular, made possible with support from Greater St. Louis, Inc.

We are so excited to celebrate the winter season with you all again this year! Tickets for skate rentals and heated igloos are now available.

Gateway Arch Park Foundation is the official philanthropic partner and conservancy for Gateway Arch National Park. We host Winterfest as part of our mission to serve the St. Louis community through programs that bring the park and its surrounding areas in Downtown St. Louis to life. By offering safe, affordable, innovative and family-friendly events, we invite St. Louisans and visitors alike to make new memories under the Arch and join us in invigorating the jewel of our City to ensure it remains a destination of choice for generations to come.

Ice Rink

This holiday season, ice skate in the shadow of the Arch at the Winterfest Ice Rink in Kiener Plaza!

Hours

Opening Day, November 18:

  • 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. (skate free all day courtesy of Ameren!)

November 19 – December 31: 

  • Fridays: 4 – 8 p.m. 
  • Saturdays and Sundays: 12 – 8 p.m.

Reduced Hours: December 24: 12 – 6 p.m. 
CLOSED: November 23 & December 25

Extended Hours

December 26 – December 31:

  • Open DAILY from 12 – 8 p.m.

Pricing

Ice skate rentals are $12 for adults and $7 for children ages 3 to 15.

Igloos

Enjoy Winterfest from the warmth of the Igloo Village in Kiener Plaza! Reserve your private, upscale heated igloo which includes:

  • Stylish, comfortable seating for up to 4 people in a heated personal space.
  • 4 Signature Winterfest beverages in your igloo provided by the Winterfest Café.
  • 4 Winterfest Ice Rink Skate rentals.
  • Locker rental.
  • A picture-perfect photo opp with beautiful views of the Gateway Arch!
  • Free Parking at Kiener West Garage (1 car per reservation).

Igloos cost $200 for one reservation (up to four people).

Winterfest S'mores

S'more ways to have fun at Winterfest!

Purchase a Winterfest Campfire Kit ($15) for everything you need to make up to four s'mores, as well as access to one of our four marshmallow toasting fire pits.

S'mores kits will be available for purchase on-site. Vegan s'mores kits available upon request.

St. Louis Blues Try Hockey Free

November 19 and December 3, from 10:30 a.m. to noon:

St. Louis Blues Youth Hockey invites children ages 4 to 9 years old to learn the fundamental skills of hockey such as skating, passing, stickhandling and shooting.

Friday Carol-oke

Each Friday in December will offer holiday-themed karaoke! Bring your friends and family down to sing your favorite holiday songs.

New Year's Eve 'Neon Nights' Celebration and Fireworks

Our New Year's Eve "Neon Nights" celebration, made possible with support from Greater St. Louis, Inc., is a family-friendly way to ring in the new year! Enjoy a DJ, fire dancers, princesses and superheroes, party favors and a deluxe photo experience, topped off by a fireworks spectacular with monumental Arch views!

$1,500 per hour (2 hour minimum)

Winterfest Semi-Private Events

Event open during regular Winterfest operating hours.

Fridays - Sundays: Nov. 24 – Dec. 30

Daily: Dec. 26 – 30

Time:

Friday: 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  

Saturday – Sunday: noon – 8:00 p.m.

Extended Hours Dec. 26 – 30: noon. – 8:00 p.m.

Rates:

$500 per hour (2 hour minimum)

Additional charges for food and beverage service.

Parking

Parking for Winterfest is available at the Kiener Plaza East (500 Pine St.) and West (604 Pine St.) Garages, starting at $8 for up to 12 hours. View on map. Guests who sign up for an InterPark Express account at iparkit.com/register will receive 20% off their first five uses; simply choose your day and time and scan your device to get in and out of the garage. During Cardinals baseball games or other Downtown events, event rates may apply.

Downtown metered and surface lot parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Did you know? Gateway Arch Park Foundation members at the Supporter level and above receive 10 free parks for Kiener East Parking Garage, and discounted parking in Kiener East thereafter, with no blackout dates!
