Riverfront

Help Clean one of America’s Longest Rivers!

As the river rises and falls throughout the spring and summer months, so do the trash and debris that accumulate along the riverfront. You can help St. Louis’ front porch get a needed tidy up during the busy summer months.

After removing more than 2,000 pounds from trash and recyclables from the river in 2025, Gateway Arch Park Foundation is teaming up again with Great Rivers Greenway, Living Lands & Waters, Republic Services, and Missouri Stream Team to clean up our Mighty Mississippi.

The summer Riverfront Clean-Up will take place on Saturday, July 18th from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.

We’re asking YOU and your friends and family to join us in lending a helping hand to keep the front yard of St. Louis clean, vital, and welcoming.
