Riverfront

Volunteers needed!
Shifts are 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. / 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In the Mississippi River Plastic Pollution Initiative 2021 Science Report, nearly 30,000 litter items were logged in St. Louis, with 74% plastic. This has a huge impact on our waterways, community, and region.

Let’s team up at the St. Louis Riverfront to clean up our Mighty Mississippi River!

To celebrate National Park Week, Gateway Arch National Park, Gateway Arch Park Foundation, Beyond Plastics, Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative, Republic Services, and Living Lands and Waters have partnered to organize a community trash pick-up event on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

Recruit your friends and family members and join us in lending a helping hand and cleaning up the riverfront!
