Children of all ages are welcome at Blues at the Arch Festival! The Kids Korner will feature a musical "petting zoo," coloring activities, yard games, interactive pop-up sports and more!
A musical petting zoo is an assortment of real instruments that you can pick up and try out. You can learn the names of the instruments and what instrument family they are a part of. This activity is for all ages. It is never too late to explore the joy of music and pick up an instrument!
Booze @ Blues
Featuring local craft beers from 4 Hands Brewing Co. and specialty cocktails from Narwhals's Crafted, STL Barkeep and Sugarfire Smokehouse.
We're celebrating with local craft brews and specialty cocktails at Blues at the Arch Festival -- because what could be more St. Louis than blues, booze and the Arch?
The History of Beer at the Park
Many advancements in brewing occurred on what is now Gateway Arch National Park. In fact, the beginning of the Lemp Brewery was located on 2nd Street between Walnut and Elm, and was cleared to make way for the park. It is quite possible that the first lager beer in St. Louis, and perhaps America, was developed on that site. In addition, the site of the first Lemp Brewery was purchase from James Clemens (second cousin once removed of Samuel Clemens, also known as Mark Twain).
