Ice Skating Returns to Downtown St. Louis

A favorite St. Louis winter tradition for all ages, the fourth annual Winterfest, presented by Bank of America and World Wide Technology returns to Kiener Plaza and features a community ice rink, a Winter Market shopping district, reserved Igloo seating with Sugarfire table service and more exciting events than ever before.

Experience this St. Louis winter tradition with the most iconic backdrop in the city, the Gateway Arch.

Ice Rink

The Gateway Arch Park Foundation brings you an ice skating experience like no other! Grab your friends and your skates if you've got them (don't worry you can rent a pair of ours if you don't)  and enjoy this real-ice, outdoor rink in the heart of Kiener Plaza. In the shadow of the Gateway Arch or under its new lights.  Winterfest is open with regular hours and special events November 23, 2019 - January 26, 2020!

Rent Skates Now!

Igloo Village

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting November 23rd and ending January 26th. Also open on New Years Eve, Tuesday, December 31st.

New to Winterfest, enjoy the festivities from the warmth of the Winterfest Igloo Village. Reserve your personal, upscale warming tent that includes:

  • Stylish, comfortable seating and cozy blankets in a heated personal space
  • Table service from the Sugarfire Winterfest Café featuring, a $50 credit for food and drink from Sugarfire (outside food is not permitted, must be 21 with valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages)
  • Up to six Winterfest Ice Rink Skate rentals
  • Free parking at Ballpark Village (parking for one vehicle only, If Ballpark Village is full, parking guest may also park in the Stadium East Garage (entrance on Broadway)
  • Classic view of the Gateway Arch for a picture perfect photos
  • Seats up to 6 people comfortably

Great for special occasions, girls’ nights out, and experiencing the magic of the holidays in Downtown St. Louis.

St. Louis Blues 3-on-3 Hockey Classic

The Winterfest 3 on 3 Hockey Classic starts December 14th and ends with the Championship during All-Star Week. Teams will compete for the Winterfest 3 on 3 championship trophy on the Winterfest rink at Kiener Plaza. Click here for more information and registration. The public is invited to watch the exciting championship games from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 18.

One Nation Celebration presented by Bud Select

Kick off a week of NHL® All-Star festivities in downtown St. Louis at the Winterfest Ice Rink! The fun begins in the morning at the 3-on-3 Hockey Classic Championship, and in the afternoon enjoy ice skating, kids activities such as face painters and caricature artists, giveaways, and two free performances by one of St. Louis’ most favorite sons, Charles Glenn, sponsored by AARP in St. Louis.
